Sky-Watcher Hybrid EQ/Alt-Az Mounts

Sky-Watcher hybrid EQ/alt-az mounts switch between equatorial mode for astrophotography and alt-azimuth mode for quick visual sessions. The AZ-EQ5 and AZ-EQ6 GoTo mounts are the classic examples, and in alt-az mode they can carry two telescopes side by side.

The compact AZ-GTi can be set up in either mode, and the Wave 100i and 150i strain wave mounts offer the same flexibility in a lighter package, with Pro kits that include a tripod and pier extension.
