The ASI715MC is a high-sensitivity color camera equipped with a 1/2.8" sensor and an 8.46-megapixel resolution. Featuring Sony's advanced STARVIS technology, this camera boasts ultra-low readout noise (0.72e) and exceptional sensitivity, making it perfect for detailed astronomical imaging of planets and smaller deep-sky objects, as well as for microscope photography.
The camera's compact 1.45μm pixels make it an outstanding option for imaging without the need for focal extenders or Barlows. This feature is particularly advantageous for lunar photography, as it allows you to maintain a wide field of view while still achieving excellent resolution.
The camera features a USB 3.0 transmission interface and comes with a built-in 256MB DDR3 cache to provide stable and secure data transmission.
