Three-in-one design

The ASI2600MC Air features a streamlined design that requires only a single USB cable for control, significantly simplifying your setup by minimizing potential cable management issues and accelerating setup times. There's no need for a separate off-axis guider (OAG), guide camera, or ASIAIR unit. This camera supports automatic guiding, multi-target imaging, and rapid image processing, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in your astrophotography pursuits.

    Ample Storage and Stability


    Equipped with a substantial 256GB eMMC storage, the ASI2600MC Air simplifies the process of capturing multiple celestial targets. Having undergone rigorous testing with over 300 benchmarks, it guarantees system stability. Additionally, its USB 2.0 ports accommodate external storage of up to 1TB, providing ample space for all your astrophotography requirements.

    Dual-Band Wi-Fi for Stable Signal

    Equipped with an external enhanced dual-band antenna, the camera supports both 2.4G and 5G frequency bands, ensuring stable and smooth operation up to 20 meters*. The 2.4G band offers a longer transmission distance albeit with a slightly slower speed compared to 5G.

    >*Note: 20 meters is the average distance tested in multiple trials using the 2.4G band in an open area.

    Cross-Platform Device Control

    In addition to the ASIAIR App, the ASI2600MC Air can also connect wirelessly to ZWO’s proprietary PC control software, ASIStudio, as well as other third-party PC software. For enhanced compatibility, third-party software can be controlled through the ASCOM extended protocol Alpaca, which requires ASCOM Platform version V6.6 or higher. This flexibility allows users to integrate the camera seamlessly into a variety of astrophotography workflows.

    Wireless Mobile and PC compatibility

    Imaging Sensor

    The main sensor IMX571 features an APS-C format and 26MP total pixels. The size is 23.5mm in width x 15.7mm in height, and the diagonal is 28.3mm. The 3.76um x 3.76um small pixel size accommodates an impressive full depth of 50ke. With the new hardware technology, it is even extended to 73ke.

    Integrated autoguiding sensor

    The SC2210 sensor, sourced from the ASI220MM Mini camera, boasts exceptional sensitivity. It achieves a peak Quantum Efficiency (QE) of 92% at 500nm and offers extraordinarily low read noise, measuring just 0.6e. As a next-generation guiding sensor, it has demonstrated remarkable performance in astrophotography, validated by the positive feedback from hundreds of astrophotographers.

    No amp glow

    Traditional CMOS sensors often emit a faint infrared light during operation, commonly visible as amp glow in the corners of uncalibrated images. The ASI2600MC Air, however, is equipped with zero-amp glow circuitry, effectively eliminating this issue. This allows you to engage in high gain, long exposure imaging without the concern of amp glow affecting the quality of your photos.
