Applications

This filter will be used in a Herschel Wedge, to reduce the transmitted light to a usable amount. Additional you need a second grey filter or polar filter or Solar Continuum filter.

Adaption

The filters are simply screwed into the 1.25" filter thread of the eyepiece or camera adaption. The filter is also available in 2".

Transmission

The smaller the percentage of light transmission, the stronger the filter is. For example a 0,1% filter will allow 1/1000 of the light to pass through, while the rest will be blocked.
