Celestron NexStar Evolution Telescopes

Celestron NexStar Evolution telescopes are Schmidt-Cassegrains on a single-arm alt-azimuth GoTo mount with built-in WiFi and an internal rechargeable battery. Models include the Evolution 6, 8 and 9.25, plus the Evolution 8 EdgeHD with StarSense for automatic alignment and a flatter field.

You control them from the SkyPortal app or a hand controller, with no external power pack needed for a night out. The wedge for NexStar Evolution and SE 6/8 adds equatorial tracking for longer exposures.
