- Live stacking: Frames are stacked in real time so the image visibly improves while you watch, which is a very different experience from processing days later.

- Can it replace a full imaging rig?
- For wide-field nebula and star field imaging with minimal setup, it does a great deal of what a rig does. For long focal length, large sensors or upgradeability, a conventional setup remains necessary.
- Does it work from a city?
- On emission nebulae, yes, particularly models with narrowband filtration. Galaxies and broadband targets still suffer from light pollution as they would with any equipment.
- Do I need to polar align it?
- No. Plate solving handles orientation, which is the main reason setup takes minutes rather than an hour. Exposure lengths are correspondingly short and made up by stacking many frames.
- Can I photograph planets with it?
- Not effectively. The short focal length that makes it good at wide fields makes planets very small. Planetary work needs long focal length and high frame rate capture.
