Explore Scientific Beginner Telescopes

Explore Scientific beginner telescopes are complete, easy-to-use instruments for a first look at the sky. The selection covers the Galileoscope STEM kit, FirstLight 80mm refractors with or without a Go-To tracker, FirstLight 100mm and 127mm Mak-Cassegrains, 114mm and Sidara Essential 130 Newtonians, and 6" and 8" Dobsonians.

Refractors and Maksutovs are compact choices for the Moon and planets, while the Dobsonians give more aperture for star clusters and nebulae at a modest learning curve.
