• Dual 1.25" and 2" Barrels: Each Morpheus eyepiece includes both 1.25" and 2" nosepieces without requiring an adapter. The 2" barrel is integrated directly into the eyepiece body, saving critical focus travel—a major benefit for Newtonian reflectors that often have limited back-focus.
• Slip-Protect Safety-Kerfs: Instead of a deep, singular undercut that can snag on compression rings, the barrels feature numerous shallow Safety-Kerfs. This design provides a secure grip in the focuser, preventing the eyepiece from accidentally slipping out.

Field-Ready Ergonomics: Secure Grip and Luminescent Labels

Designed for practical use in total darkness, the Morpheus eyepieces incorporate several features to improve handling and identification. The wide, waffle-patterned rubber grip ring ensures a secure hold, even when wearing gloves on a cold night.

The most distinctive feature is the luminescent labeling. After a brief charge from a red flashlight, the eyepiece's focal length and name glow in a soft green. Integrated M43 Thread for Eyepiece Projection Imaging

Beyond visual use, the Morpheus eyepieces are superb optical tools for eyepiece projection photography. Hidden beneath the foldable rubber eyecup is an M43 thread. Using an optional M43/T-2 adapter ring, you can directly and rigidly attach a DSLR or other system camera to the eyepiece.

This direct-thread connection creates a solid imaging train with minimal vignetting, a significant improvement over universal adapters that can introduce flexure and alignment issues.
