    The Dew-Not DN006 Heater Strip prevents dew formation on 5" telescopes and is rated at 7.9 watts at 12V DC. This 16.75" strip draws 0.66 amps, connecting via a 6 ft cord with an RCA plug. Its patented thick-film heating technology provides even warmth across a 15.75" element.

    Thick-Film Heating: 7.9W of Even Heat

    Unlike resistance wire heaters that can create hot spots, this strip uses a thick-film element where sixty-six percent of the surface radiates heat. This gives more even heat distribution and no localized hot spots or burnouts often associated with resistance wire heaters. Operating at 12V DC, the heater draws 0.66A and is rated at 7.9W.

    This 16.75" heater strip is made for 5" telescopes and closes with Velcro for flexibility and a secure fit. It is cloth covered with foam insulation on the outer side for maximum efficiency and performance. A 6 ft power cord with a standard RCA plug fits standard dew heater controllers (sold separately).
