    The Dew-Not DN009 heater strip is made for 8" telescopes, drawing 1.18 A to deliver 14 W of dew-preventing heat. Its 30.0" overall length houses a 29" thick-film heating element, powered by a 12 V DC source through its integrated 6 ft cord.

    14W Thick-Film Heater: Even Heat Across 29"

    Unlike resistance-wire heaters, this strip uses a thick-film element where 66% of the surface area radiates heat. This gives more even heat distribution along the 29" element and no localized hot spots or burnouts often associated with resistance wire heaters. Operating at 12 V DC, the strip is rated at 14 W.

    30" Strip for 8" Scopes: Velcro Fit and 6 ft Power Cord

    This 30.0" heater strip is made for 8" telescopes and closes with Velcro for flexibility and a secure fit. It is cloth covered with foam insulation on the outer side for maximum efficiency and performance. The 6 ft power cord terminates in a standard RCA plug, ready to connect to a compatible dew heater controller (sold separately).
