    The PrimaLuceLab HEQ5, Sirius EQ-G PLUS Adapter Plate replaces the stock saddle of the Sky-Watcher HEQ5 and Orion Sirius EQ-G so you can install a PrimaLuceLab Vixen+Losmandy PLUS dovetail clamp (sold separately). The plate itself has no clamp or knobs: it is the interface between the mount head and the PLUS clamp, which then accepts both Vixen-style and Losmandy-style dovetail bars.

    From a Vixen-Only Saddle to a Vixen+Losmandy PLUS Clamp

    The stock saddle of the HEQ5 and Sirius EQ-G accepts Vixen-style bars only, while many larger optical tubes come with the wider Losmandy "D-style" bar. With this plate installed in place of the original saddle, a PrimaLuceLab Vixen+Losmandy PLUS dovetail clamp grips both standards, so you can keep using your existing Vixen plates as well.
