  • Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer to Wave Carbon Fiber Tripod Adapter / Pier Extension

The Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer to Wave Carbon Fiber Tripod Adapter / Pier Extension lets you mount your Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer on the Wave Carbon Fiber Tripod (S30910). The 7-inch (180mm) tube also works as a pier extension, lifting the mount above the tripod head to give your imaging rig more clearance. It weighs 2.4 lbs (1.1 kg).

One Wave Carbon Fiber Tripod for Two Mounts

If you already own the Wave Carbon Fiber Tripod (S30910), this adapter lets you use the same tripod with your Star Adventurer. Instead of carrying or buying a second tripod, you swap the mount head and keep the carbon fiber legs you already travel with.

7-inch (180mm) Pier Extension for More Clearance

The 180mm tube raises the mount above the tripod head. That extra height helps keep cameras, lenses and small telescopes clear of the tripod legs as the rig tracks across the sky, especially when you point high toward the zenith.
