  • Sky-Watcher SynScan USB Adapter

    The Sky-Watcher SynScan USB Adapter lets you connect a Sky-Watcher GoTo mount that has a serial port to a PC through a USB-B port, replacing outdated serial connections. Over its USB 2.0 link, you can control the mount directly from the SynScan Pro App for Windows or your astrophotography software, without the hand controller, and update the mount's motor control firmware. Both cables are included: an EQ cable (8-pin to 8-pin) and an AZ cable (8-pin to 6-pin).

    Direct PC Control Without the Hand Controller

    Plug the adapter into your mount and your computer, and the PC takes over GoTo and tracking commands. You can run the SynScan Pro App for Windows or the astrophotography software you already use for imaging sessions, and keep the hand controller in the case.

    2 Cables Included for EQ and AZ Mounts

    The EQ cable (8-pin to 8-pin) connects to Sky-Watcher equatorial mounts, and the AZ cable (8-pin to 6-pin) connects to alt-azimuth mounts. With both cables in the box, the same adapter works across most SynScan mounts in your collection.
