    The Sky-Watcher Wave Counterweight Kit (S30914) is a stainless steel counterweight kit for the Wave 100i and Wave 150i strain-wave mount heads. Adding the kit raises the Wave 100i's rated payload from 22 lb to 33 lb and the Wave 150i's from 33 lb to 55 lb. It includes an 11 lb (5 kg) counterweight, a 12.4-inch (314 mm) counterweight bar and a 6.5-inch (164 mm) extension bar.

    Wave mounts carry a payload without counterweights. By adding this kit with its 11 lb (5 kg) counterweight, you can mount larger optical tube assemblies and heavier imaging trains, up to the higher rated payload.

    For the Wave 100i, this represents a 50% increase in rated payload, from 22 lb (10 kg) to 33 lb (15 kg). For the Wave 150i, the rated payload rises from 33 lb (15 kg) to 55 lb (25 kg).

    Stainless Steel Build: 5 kg Weight, 12.4" Bar, and Extension

    The kit is made of stainless steel. The counterweight bar is 12.4 inches (314 mm) long with a 0.79-inch (20 mm) diameter, weighs 1.6 lb (0.72 kg) and has an M16 x 2 thread.
