Made of aluminum alloy, the F9144C clamp offers a rigid, twist-free platform capable of holding telescope setups weighing up to 10kg. The clamp opening is 39.5mm at the top, 45mm at the bottom and 12mm deep, the size class of Vixen-style dovetail bars.
Brass screws and a locking screw secure the dovetail bar. Brass is softer than steel, so it is kinder to the bar's finish while still giving a stable connection.
Versatile M6, M8, and 1/4" Hole Pattern
The base of the clamp is pre-drilled with a universal hole pattern to attach to a wide variety of mounts, tripod heads, and plates. It includes M6 holes, a 1/4" hole for photo tripods, and two M8 holes.
The two M8 mounting holes are spaced 35mm apart center to center, for direct attachment to mount saddles and accessories with matching holes. The clamp also pairs with the SVBONY F9143 dovetail plate, sold separately.
