    The SVBony SV224 Universal Finder Base adds a secure mounting point for a second or third aiming device to your telescope, weighing just 45g. This compact base measures 39mm long, 54mm wide and 22.6mm high. It attaches to your optical tube using M5 screws and features two large thumbscrews to lock your finder bracket in place without tools.

    Universal Cross-Slot Design for 15mm and 20mm Spacing

    The SV224 is engineered for broad compatibility through its cross-shaped mounting slots. A 15mm vertical slot and a 20mm horizontal slot, both 5mm wide, give room to line up with the screw holes on a tube. It is made to install on telescopes such as the SVBONY SV48, SV48P and SV503 70/80/102ED, the Celestron C8, C8HD, C925 and C11HD, and Skyrover 80ED, 102ED and 130APO. Measure the hole spacing on your tube to confirm the fit before mounting.

    Dual-Screw Security in a 45g CNC-Machined Platform

    Made of high-strength anodized aluminum with CNC machining for a smooth surface and a precise rail, the SV224 is thin and light. Two large thumbscrews lock the finder bracket in place, and they are easy to use even with gloves.

  • Will the SVBony SV224 base fit my telescope without drilling?

    It might. The SVBony SV224 is designed with a universal cross-slot pattern to fit many existing hole configurations. It has a 15mm vertical slot and a 20mm horizontal slot. You must measure the distance between the mounting holes on your telescope tube to confirm if they align with these slots. If not, you may need to drill new holes to install the base.

    Can I use the SV224 to add a guidescope to my SV503 80ED telescope?

    The SV503 80ED is one of the telescopes the SV224 is made to install on. A small guide scope on a standard finder-shoe dovetail foot locks into the base with the two thumbscrews.
