  • Tele Vue Mount Ring Set for 4" Tubes

    The set holds any telescope tube exactly 4" in outside diameter, such as the NP101 and NP101is, rigidly enough for astro-imaging.

    Rings

    Each ring has a bat-handle lock, two Tele Vue accessory channels with #10-32 tapped holes for a Starbeam, Sol-Searcher, Piggy-Cam and more, and a 1/4"-20 tapped hole on the top and bottom.

    Accessory Bar and Bottom Plate

    With the top accessory bar or bottom plate fitted, the rings sit 5.5" to 6.5" apart. The bar has holes for a Starbeam and a slot for piggybacking a small Tele Vue refractor. The included BPL-1098 bottom plate mates to a variety of mounts and adapter plates, including the AVT-1011 Vixen adapter and the Gibraltar HD5 head.
