  • The Tele Vue TV-NP101is Imaging System APO

    The Tele Vue TV-NP101is is a 101mm, f/5.4 Nagler-Petzval apochromat built on Tele Vue's wide-field and planetary visual designs, with features added to make imaging easier and more flexible. Tele Vue rates it for a 4.9° maximum visual field and 250x maximum recommended power.

    The 2.4" Imaging System Focuser

    The enlarged focuser has a 3" entrance and a 2.4" exit aperture. Its body carries a brass clamp ring with two lock knobs, and the accessory end-ring has tilt adjustment and three lock knobs. An imaging insert threaded for Tele Vue Imaging System parts and a 2" accessory insert for visual use are both included.

    Focusmate Dual-Speed Drive

    The Focusmate 10:1 ball-reduction drive comes installed, giving fine, repeatable control for critical focus, and it accepts the optional Focusmate Driver for motorised focusing.

    Built for the Field

    The optical tube is 25.5" long (28.5" with a 2" diagonal) and weighs 10.7 lbs. A sliding metal dew shield, a screw-on metal lens cover and a hard-shell carry case are included. The case has two removable accessory bags in its lid and cutouts for eyepieces. Mounting rings are sold separately.

    No. Tele Vue sells the ring set separately; it is also part of the optional Accessory Package.

    Can I use 2" visual accessories?

    Yes. A 2" accessory insert is included alongside the imaging insert.
