Weighing only 4.1 kg (9.04 lbs), the upgraded AM3N features a refined design that enhances both portability and cable management. The dovetail saddle now incorporates built-in Type-C and 12V DC ports to reduce clutter, while a magnetic hex key securely attaches to the mount for easy access and storage.

Precision Control

Astrophotography requires uncompromising stability and precision. To meet these demands, the mount employs a custom-engineered strain wave gear system, purpose-built to minimize periodic error, deliver exceptionally smooth motion, and provide high torque capacity—key elements for long-exposure imaging.

Working in tandem with a synchronous belt drive, the strain wave gear reducer achieves precise motion control with a 300:1 reduction ratio. Every mount is individually tested, and a detailed periodic error (PE) curve report is included, giving users verified performance data and confidence in the field.

Wireless and Hand Controller Operation

With built-in Bluetooth, the AM3N connects directly to your smartphone—no hand controller needed. Wi-Fi functionality is available through the hand controller, which contains the WiFi transmitter. Lightweight and travel-ready, the AM3N lets you observe or capture images with nothing more than your phone. Take full control of the mount from your smartphone with an intuitive app—featuring an on-screen joystick, Tonight’s Target, GOTO, Live Preview, and more.

For users who prefer hands-on control, the mount comes with a rocker-style hand controller—offering intuitive operation without relying on the app.
